Measurement Instructions
How To Measure Torso Lenght
How To Measure Waist Circumference
How To Measure Chest Circumference
- Use a hard, flat chair or bench placed against a wall.
- Have a pencil, measuring tape, and a flat object (such as a book or mobile phone) ready.
- Remove your shoes. Sit upright on the chair with your back fully against the wall
- Keep your thighs flat on the seat, knees bent at approximately 90°, feet flat on the floor, and shoulders relaxed..
- Look straight ahead with your chin parallel to the floor. Place the flat object horizontally on the top of your head. Ensure it is level and slide it back until it touches the wall at a 90° angle.
- Lightly mark the wall at the bottom edge of the flat object. Stand up and measure from the top surface of the chair (the seated surface) vertically up to the pencil mark.
- Stand relaxed, feet shoulder-width apart.
- Find your natural waist: the narrowest point between ribs and hips (usually just above the belly button).
- Wrap a soft tape measure around this point, level all the way around.
- Keep the tape snug but not tight; don’t suck in your stomach.
- Record the measurement in cm's or inches after a normal exhale.
- Stand upright with arms relaxed at your sides.
- Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest (across the nipples), keeping it level across your back.
- The tape passes under the armpits, not over the arms or shoulders
- Keep the tape snug, not tight.
- Record the measurement in cm's or inches after a normal exhale.
